    Description

    This is a Regular Edition of the Norwegian Attractions:  Nidaros Cathedral Geocoin
    It has not been activated and is trackable.
    I confirmed that is has not been activated at Geocaching.com/track/details.
    Nidaros Cathedral is Norway's national sanctuary.  It was built over the grave of St. Olav, Norway's patron saint.  Construction started in 1070, but the oldest parts still in existence are from the middle of the 12th century.
    The coin is approximately 2" in diameter and approximately 3.5mm thick
    It has a Satin Copper finish and beautiful black enameling.
    The front is a beautiful 2D depiction of the Nidaros Cathedral.
    The back of the coin features the Rosewindow, created by Gabriel Kielland.  Its motif faces the sunset (west, symbolizes doomsday.  It was completed in 1930
